Friday 13th October

Date: 13th Oct 2023 @ 4:32pm

This week in Year 6, we have been busy doing…

An open day where we got to show round the new reception parents for next year. We really enjoyed the responsibility of doing it and some people did it after school also!

In maths, we looked at long multiplication and short division with and without remainders. We found long multiplication especially hard.

In Literacy, we had another go at passive voice but this time to describe a scene. We also had a talk on concentration camps and how horrible the situation was for the Jews.

In RE, we learnt about church music and recorded our finding in our humanities books whilst the other half continued their French café menus.

In History, we learnt about evacuees and what their life was like during the war. We also made identity tags and had fun naming them!

Have a nice weekend!
