Friday 9th February

Date: 9th Feb 2024 @ 3:11pm

We've come to the end of another busy week in Year 6!

The children have been working hard in English and focused on plural possession in their writing. Their ability to combine this with a formal style was brilliant to see. In science, we investigated micro-organisms and set up our experiment to see what the impact of hand washing will have on the growth of bacteria. We reached the end of our algebra topic this week- proving that it is actually not as scary as it sounds! In whole class reading we have dived deeper into 'When the Sky Falls' and unravelled some of the mysteries held by our main characters.

Finally, we were treated to a fantastic jazz performance by some special visitors this morning, it was certainly a great start to a Friday!
