And just like that, December is here and so are the festivities! We look forward to welcoming you to watch our Nativity play; we've been working so hard!
In maths, we have started to subtract by finding missing parts (in part whole models), making the link between subtraction and addition, subtracted by crossing out and applying this knowledge to real world problems. In our writing activities, we wrote the story of Cinderella and ordered the events within the story.
In the afternoons, we have enjoyed learning about where our Christmas traditions come from (the Victorians!). We played Victorian Christmas games including, 'Slipper Sole', 'Fly, feather fly' and 'try not to laugh' game. As you start enjoying the festivities, see what your children can tell your about our Christmas traditions!
