This week was Health Week!

I was super proud of the children for being extremely sensible in our SRE lesson where we learnt the correct names for male and female private parts. After, we spoke about how, as our bodies change, our ability to do things changes also! We recorded our achievements so far on a class flower. Lastly, we spoke about how changes can sometimes make us worry but that they are all normal! We made change a positive and spoke about things we look forward to in our future, near or far! Lastly, Jigsaw Jack's story helped the children to know that sharing worries makes us feel a lot better!

Next, we looked at how to stay safe and healthy. We identitied safe and unsafe objects in our homes and spoke about them. We then looked at how we keep ourselves clean, focusing on brushing our teeth. The children have all been given a toothbrush and toothpaste to take home.

We had a great time at sports day - thank you for all the parents and grandparents that joined us!
