Year 3 - 22.3.24

Date: 22nd Mar 2024 @ 4:26pm

Wow, another week has flown by so quickly. We’ve had a very busy week which consisted of starting our end of unit writing assessment. So far, the children have explained how all was nice and peaceful during the early morning of Pompeii, but as the clocks hit 1pm Mount Vesuvius erupted! Next week will continue our writing. In maths we finished fractions by looking at them on a scale and bar models. Today we started our new topic of mass and capacity by looking at intervals.

The children were very lucky today as our wonderful PTA held an easter egg hunt competition were the children had to use their knowledge of adding, subtracting and multiplication to earn a chocolate reward.

Well done Y3 and remember, only one more week to go till the Easter half term! 😊
