Welcome back everyone! We hope you've had a lovely summer holiday and managed to relax plenty.

In our first week of Year 5, we have already done plenty of learning! In Maths, we have been learning all about Roman Numerals past 1000. We enjoyed solving problems with Roman Numerals and working collaboratively to create our own Roman shopping list. In our English lessons, we have focused on daredevils and created a short diary entry about different daring feats. 

We have begun our study of the Industrial Revolution, where we placed lots of different civilisations on a timeline, including the Victorians and when the Industrial Revolution occured.
