2.2.24 - Year 5

In P.E we looked at dance and Gymnastics. In Gymnastics we put together a routine including counter balances, scrambles, slides ,rolls and jumps. In dance we put together routine about the Industrial Revolution. We had lots of fun in D.T., creating some bridges out of paper straws. We had to put weights on them to test them. We also had Emma, Beth and Charlotte representing our school in a netball tournament. In Literacy, we started a new book called The Hunters. It is about a girl called Jamina, who wants to be a hunter, but little does she know that is her worst nightmare. In maths, we have been doing long multiplication which is VERY hard. Overall, we have had a good week.
