What a fun week Year 2 have had! We started our week in the best way possible with a trip to Thurstaston Beach with Year 3 and explored the different animals that live at the beach as well as identifying physical and human features of the coast line. We had such an exciting day and the weather was beautiful! Please take a look at our Twitter feed to see us enjoying our day. We then came back to school on Tuesday and wrote a recount of our school trip and all the exciting things that we got up to during our day. 

In Maths this week, we have looked at comparing numbers using our more than, less than and equals sign to show which numbers are bigger, smaller and the same as. We have also estimated where 2-digit numbers go on a number line. 

In Geography, we ventured outside to use our compasses to identify the different directions and draw what we could see. In Science, we started to design our lab coats- it was so much fun!
