We've had a wonderful start to the year exploring our classroom and getting used to routines in Year 1. We loved getting hands on with the water tray! 

The children did their first piece of writing and I was so impressed by their sound knowledge. We labelled an image from the text, "Tidy" by our author or the term, Emily Gravett. We look forward to starting phonics and sending home reading diaries next week to hear about all your wonderful home reading.
