Year 1 - Friday 7th October 2022

This week, Year 1 have enjoyed following the Jolly Postman's journey to Cinderella's palace and the sneaky wolf residing in Grandma's cottage. We worked on describing cinderalla's palace and using capital letters and full stops to write sentences about the Big Bad Wolf. 

We explored colour mixing using only our primary colours: red, yellow and blue. It is amazing how many colours can be created! 

In science, the children identified materials made of plastic, wood and metal with Mrs Taylor. 

We have been busy practising our Harvest song, 'Cauliflower Fluffy' and have enjoyed singing the Capital letter and full stop rock!
