This week has flown by!

As mathematicians this week, we have been using the X symbol. We have been creating and drawing arrays to show X. 

As writers, we have been using that to extend our sentences. We have also continued to use apostrophes for contractions correctly and independently. 

As geographers, we have learnt about major rivers around the world. The children were fascinated by all of the different facts they learnt. 

On Wednesday, we welcomed Emma from Claire House and enjoyed dressing up in pink and blue. Emma joined us in year 2 and taught us lots about Claire House and what they do for poorly children. With Emma, we learnt makaton.
