Year 5 - Friday 15th September

Hello everyone,

Our first full week of the year is over and we have been extremely busy with our learning. In English, we began to read the story of Annie Edson Taylor, the Queen of the Falls and we produced setting descriptions about Niagara Falls. Our Maths work this week has included learning all about numbers to 1 million where we have practised many previous skills from Year 4. We had our first music lesson with Mrs Bamford where we were singing 'Living on a Prayer' by Bon Jovi. 

Finally, we were introduced to our Year 1 or Year 3 buddies! We chose books and read together.
