Year 5 - Friday 2nd December

Date: 2nd Dec 2022 @ 3:07pm

It's Christmas countdown!

This week in Year 5, we have learnt loads! We have finished our English book - The Lost Happy Endings - and are about to begin planning and writing our final piece for the term. Miss Kelly has taught us more this week, which has been quite nice! We have learnt about cubed numbers through some active maths, outside in the freezing cold and have started our fractions unit with Mr Hutchinson.

Our choir has been working hard, readying themselves for tonight's performance at the village hall and our gardeners have worked diligently to move the compost from the yard into the plant beds. Next week, we will be hopefully planting some vegetables and flowers in the beds even though it might be a little late in the year for it.

Finally, we have begun preparations for our carol concert and lantern parade for the final week.

As always, a busy, busy week with lots going on!

Have a lovely weekend,

Year 5
