Year 5 - Friday 30th September

It's been a lovely week in Year 5. We have finished our place value learning in Maths with lots of work on rounding to the nearest 10,000 and 100,000. In English, we have been writing news reports about Annie Edson Taylor - The Queen of the Falls, who is about to embark on her journey in her wooden barrel. We showed our school council presentations and voted for our School and Sports Councillors. We learnt all about the Victorians by looking carefully at Victorian paintings to give us clues about life in the 1800s.
