Year 5 - Week beginning 7th November

This week got off to a great start with Mrs Cox teaching us all about the work of L.S.Lowry in Art. We related this to the Victorian revolution and how Lowry included lots of factories in his work. We created our own Lowry paintings with watercolours, specifically focusing on similar colour palettes to Lowry's. It was also a very exciting week as it was our first week delivering our Play Leader sessions with the infants. In geography, we got the computers out to learn all about time zones in Digimaps and learnt about common multiples and common factors in Maths.
